To Cherish Connection:

is to deeply value the relationship we have with another

— nurturing it with care, tenderness, and presence

I’m Diane

I support connection in those affected by dementia —

both the person diagnosed and those who love and care

Dementia may change many things, yet the need for connection will always remain

Connection is what makes us all human

I believe we should all feel safe, seen and connected

Throughout our entire lives!

*

Safe

Feeling protected from distress and overwhelm, steady in the moment

*

Seen

Feeling that who we are — our feelings, needs and experience

are understood and recognised

*

Connected

Feeling a sense of belonging — within ourselves and the beliefs we hold,

to those we love,

and to the wider world

through nature, creativity and the arts

How I Support This

1:1 support for people living with dementia, that is deeply attuned and person-centred

Guidance at any stage of the journey for those diagnosed or those supporting their loved one

Connection is not lost with dementia

Sometimes it simply asks for a
different quality of attention

And we don’t have to find that alone
